The Technology Innovation Futures West Midlands project runs between 2012 and 2015 and is hosted by Coventry University Enterprises Limited. As the scheme is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the first thing is to check your eligibility. Basically you will need to be based in the West Midlands, have less than 250 employees and have a turnover of less than €50m and an annual balance sheet or less than €43m

Following on from this, eligible companies will undertake a short needs analysis, conducted by us, to identify the areas where we can best help.

We have, through the approved European procurement process, selected a number of consultants to provide support on behalf of the project. Their details can be found on the “Consultants” tab. You are free to contact any of them to see whether they can provide the support you need.

Should none be able to fulfil your specific requirements, there is a process whereby you can chose other consultancies, provided you can demonstrate why your needs cannot be satisfied from the approved list and demonstrate that you have had at least 3 quotations for the work you need to be done.

Please feel free to get in touch with the Technology and Innovations Futures project team for further information about the process of engagement.

Please be aware that, in order to satisfy the requirements of the funding body, there are a number of forms to be completed at each stage of the work. These include an Eligibility Form to confirm that you are a business which qualifies for the support and an Initial Needs Analysis to confirm your requirements. These forms have to be signed and returned in hard copy form – scanned copies are not accepted.

Having identified the priority need we will link you to a relevant, external industry specialist who will contact you to discuss your requirements in more detail and arrange with you to work on your technological needs.
